Marissa Piazza, RYT-200
I am a devoted student and teacher of yoga, designing my classes to bring students back into their bodies through movement and breath and creating space to be curious, playful, and mindful both on and off the mat. I encourage my students to lean in to change and be open to the will of the universe. My curiosity for yoga began in 2014 on the East Coast but my commitment deepened with my completion of 200-hour certification at Yogaleena in Houston, Texas. I carry a smile everywhere I go and am perpetually searching for the sunshine in life. I love yoga because it helps me sleep soundly, connect with my body, and breathe.
I am not currently teaching, but please see my experience below.
- Rainier Health & Fitness, 7722 Rainier Ave S. Seattle, WA – Vinyasa Flow, Mondays 6AM
- Start your week with a gentle flow to invigorate both body and mind. Open to all levels, this vinyasa flow class focuses on linking breath to movement. Set a positive tone for the whole week by committing to a nourishing habit.
- Momentum Indoor Climbing SODO, 2759 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA – Mondays 5:45PM, Fridays 5:45pm
- Move through a sequence meant to help build some internal heat to prime the mind and the body to settle. Then enjoy some long held restorative postures that when propped well, will not only feel really good in the moment, but will also leave you feeling refreshed and released. Come away from this class with a new perspective!
